When will the new services be available?
Delivery of the carts will take place between 11/14/16 and 12/1/16

How do I know if I'm eligible for this service?
If you currently subscribe to recurring garbage service (weekly, every other week, monthly) and live within McMinnville city limits, you're good!

What is yard debris?
 - "If you can grow it, you can throw it"

 - Yard clippings & garden waste
 - Grass, leaves & sticks
 - Fruits & Vegetables
 - Food prep waste (rinds, cores & peels)

What is NOT yard debris?
 - Meat, eggs or dairy
 - Mixed food waste (plate scrapings) 
 - Pizza or cereal boxes
 - Pet waste or manure products
 - Dirt, soil, sand or rocks

What types of glass can I recycle with this new program?
Any color glass bottles and jars (wine, beer, soda, jam, condiments)
 

What types of glass are not accepted?
 - Pyrex
 
 - Windows 
 - Auto Glass 
 - Porcelain, toilets 

How much does it cost?
There will be a 5.5% increase to your current garbage service rates. With the additional services, however, you can adjust your garbage service and potentially save money by increasing recycling service. Contact us to customize your service level.
 

How frequent will the service be?
Yard Waste will be collected every other week on the same day and week as your current red-lid commingle cart. You will receive a 90-gallon roll-cart with a GREEN lid.

Glass will be collected once a month, on the same day as Trash for most customers. You will receive a 32-gallon roll-cart with a BLUE lid.
